Every module, from the day you start
There is one price and one system. Nothing below is an add-on, a module you unlock later, or a separate product you pay for again.
Surveys and quotes
- Survey on site, or send the customer a link and let them do their own from their phone.
- Volumes in cubic feet, with metric shown alongside; the packing factor is a suggestion you can overwrite.
- Price from your own tariff. Change prices in a new version and quotes already sent keep the version they were priced under.
- Several options on one quote, each with its own choices, and the customer accepts the one they want.
Jobs and the diary
- An accepted quote becomes a job, with the terms the customer actually agreed to attached to it.
- Allocate crew and vehicles against real availability, including who is on holiday and which van has an open defect.
- Clashes surface before the morning of the move, not on it.
- Rescheduling keeps the deposit and re-runs the checks.
Storage
- Containers and self-storage units, in your own facility or a third party's.
- Billing runs in advance, 4-weekly or calendar-monthly, and prorates by the day.
- A change made after a period is billed settles on the next invoice rather than being lost.
- Access codes live in their own place, encrypted, and every look at one is recorded.
Fleet
- Daily walkaround checks from a phone, with photographs of defects.
- MOT, service and tax dates, with the fifteen months of check records DVSA expects.
- A van with an open category A defect cannot be quietly allocated to tomorrow's move.
People
- Staff records, holiday, absence and timesheets.
- Crew log in free on their own phones to see their jobs — crew seats are never billed.
- Sickness and medical records sit apart, with their own permission, and every read is recorded.
- Each person gets a public verification page a nervous customer can check on the doorstep.
Invoicing and payments
- Deposits, staged payments and final invoices, with your own terms.
- An issued invoice cannot be edited: corrections are credit notes, which is what HMRC expects.
- Card payments go straight to your own account. We are never the merchant of record for your move.
- VAT is right from the first day you register, and the rate is stored on the invoice as it was at issue.
Messages
- The email and SMS a move generates, sent on triggers you set, from templates you own.
- A record of everything that went out, to whom, and on what basis.
- Marketing messages only go to people you are allowed to send them to, and that is checked for you.
Reports and exports
- Revenue, margin, conversion and van utilisation from your own figures.
- Profit and loss by branch, by vehicle and by job.
- Every table exports when your accountant asks, and syncs to Xero, QuickBooks or Sage.
The customer portal
- Your customer accepts, signs, pays a deposit and sees their move date on their phone.
- No account to create and no password to forget: a link that belongs to them and expires.
- They can upload photographs of their rooms before you visit, or instead of a visit.
