Questions we are actually asked
If something here is unclear or missing, say so and it gets added.
The ones that come up most
- Do I pay for my drivers and porters?
- No, and you never will. Crew logins are free and unlimited: their jobs, timesheets, expenses, holiday requests and vehicle checks are all included. You pay for the people at desks.
- Is storage really included?
- Yes. Facilities, units, agreements, recurring billing, interim storage between two moves, and the lien process if an account falls badly behind. It is not a module you add later.
- What happens to my prices when I change them?
- A change makes a new version of your tariff. Quotes already sent keep the version they were priced under, so a customer accepting next week gets the price you quoted, not the one you have since changed.
- Can I edit an invoice after I have issued it?
- No, and that is deliberate. An issued invoice is fixed and corrections are credit notes, which is what HMRC expects and what your accountant will want to see.
- Do you hold my customers' card payments?
- No. Payments go straight to your own account. We are never the merchant of record for your move, and we never hold your money.
- What does it cost to send text messages?
- Texts are bought in blocks, listed on the pricing page. They do not expire while you are subscribed, and you get 25 free segments to test with. Everything else — address lookups, distances, maps, email — is in the price.
- Can I get my data out?
- Yes, at any time, including during and after a trial. Every table exports, and the accounting sync pushes to Xero, QuickBooks or Sage.
- What if I start a trial and run out of time?
- Extend it to thirty days yourself, once, with one click. Setting up a tariff and a fleet properly takes longer than a fortnight for most firms.
- Do I need to install anything?
- No. It runs in a browser, and you can install it to your dock or taskbar so it opens in its own window. Crew use the same thing on their phones.
- Is there a setup fee?
- No, optional or otherwise. Setting up your email sending and your domain is self-serve and free.
